ABOUT US

Sarah and Michael are a couple rooted in the Queen City who are passionate about music and passionate about God.

The music they create brings together a raw folk sound with rich melodies and creative instrumentation with the hammered dulcimer, acoustic guitar, piano and banjo. 

The Bowman's music is about the raw journey of finding and following Jesus. They want their music to introduce people to the goodness of God so they can grasp the reality of who He is. They hope to see their travels and their songs strengthen the church and help bring healing to the hearts of people.

In 2010 they helped found the rock infused band Redemption's Cry. They are now preparing for a fall tour as a duo and are recording a new album in their home studio. As well as playing music together, they both teach in the Charlotte area. Michael is pursuing composition while Sarah teaches private voice, guitar, and keyboard lessons from their South Charlotte home. 

They a part of the World Outreach Community and after traveling with them to Italy two years ago, they plan to do more mission work around the country and overseas.
